Wild Things

Here is an update on the Wild Things painting I have been working on for some time. I think I felt it such a daunting task that I have been kinda avoiding it for a while. I started back on it a few days ago, and I feel really good about how it is coming along. Can't wait for it to be done.

Abstract Orchid

So recently, like 4+ months ago I was commissioned by my sister to do a painting for her home in Miami. She wanted an Orchid that she had sent me a picture of. So once I found a picture of one I liked I decided to paint a version of it in a more abstract version that was toned down, with subtle pops of color to it . It was painted on 2 separate canvases. This is the finished painting to be sent to her soon. Enjoy!

Origami

I stumbled upon this article about a girl who was dogged determined to have a very green wedding. In the process she learned how to make paper flowers, I presume for her bouquet. So in what is true to me, I said to myself, "self, I can make that!" and so I did. Enjoy!
