Final dresser makeover shots

So I am finally done with the dresser I have been working on for like what seems to be forever. Actually I have been done, but the knobs I ordered from Anthropologie had to be sent back b/c they sent me the wrong ones, and then after spending hours on the phone with them turns out they didn't even have any of the knobs I wanted to begin with. Long story short, I found almost exactly the same knobs for pretty much half the price on eBay....go figure. Epic fail Anthropologie! So w/o any further a due, here are before and after shots, as well as how the dresser looks in it's new home, my KITCHEN!....loving it too. oh and I will be doing the floors next in there as well. Trust me, I have had that on list for EVER.....lol enjoy

GO CREATE!

Coincidentally my wife won an awesome tray the other night
at her Oscar party to replace the white one you see here.

Dresser dressing

I think I have settled on these knobs from Anthropologie (of course) for the dresser. They mach perfectly with the wall color in our kitchen and I think will offset perfectly with the dresser. YUMMY!

Dresser Redo pt3

Ok so I am so close to being done I can smell victory! But I'm not, so more work lies ahead. And the rain isn't helping either since I have been working on this project in my carport. BOOOO!! I know now why people like Kristen(who inspired me to do this project) over at kfddesigns(go visit her she's awesome!) and others whom have turned this into a living get paid very well to do so. IT TAKES ALLOT OF WORK!...I am very happy with this project and cant wait to get started on my next. And so here are more progress pics of my dresser. ENJOY! Remember this is my very time attempting this kind of transformation, and while I am an artist this is uncharted waters for me...

Dresser Redo

So over the holiday I took some time to start a project I have been thinking about for some time now. It's a dresser reno that I decided I would actually use for my kitchen instead of in the bedroom. It will add counter space *which we need desperately, and add storage & style as well. I have sanded it, filled extra holes with wood putty, and primed (2 coats) the main dresser. Today when I get home I am going to finish sanding down the drawers, and hopefully prime them as well. It looks like I should be done just in time to ring the New Year in with a great addition to my kitchen reno project. I will also get new knobs for the rest of our cabinets as well to match the knobs I get for the dresser. I will post progress pics soon to share. The pic below is a dresser similar in style, so you have an idea of how my dresser looks. Keep in mind it is not my dresser, just a pic i pulled off the internet.
