Reclaimed wood barndoor

Happy Monday! Well I hope you had a good, productive weekend like I did. I finished another door for a client this weekend, and I think it turned out awesome! The door is made from reclaimed walnut, and the handle from cast iron piping. This door is super easy to build, and the hardware is even easier to install. The client wanted something different for her newly finished wash room. Since there is no real need for privacy, this is more of a statement piece, but also serves as a functional one. The wood came from The Wood Yard in Griffin, Ga. The hardware can be purchased at any Tractor Supply Co. store. Links for both are below.

Magnet art

Here's another mag piece I finished recently for a penpal evelope trade which will go overseas this week. I like these simple magnets, and they are easily displayed on the fridge too so you don't have to find the perfect place on a wall somewhere....This one is a play on Roy Lichtenstein's "Electric Cord" a modern painting he did in the 70's I believe. I titled it "Electric Outlet"

custom canvas

So aside from getting some commission work done I have been doing several custom canvases for clients lately. So simple, and I do it all in house. Here is a 3'x1' canvas I just finished for a client recently. If you need a canvas in a size you can't find, gimme a call I can probably make it for you. from small to as big as 5'x4'.
